A cancelled Wolf3D mod by Team RayCast, Secret of Eridu's plot was inspired by Ancient Astronauts Theory in general, and Zecharia Sitchin's series of books in particular with the enterpretations of ancient Sumerian myths and tablets - very popular pseudo-theory debunked since. The name Eridu was an actual ancient Sumerian city.
Plot
In the mod's story, the human race is created and enslaved for gold mining by an extreterrestrial race called the Annunaki. You play a human trying to free the human race and other enslaved alien races from the Annunaki.
